Becoming a Psychologist first and then counselor has been one of the greatest joys and most formative experiences of my life. It is not just a profession, it is a calling that shapes you as much as you hope to help shape others. To sit with people in their pain, their growth, their questions and longings, it changes you. And to be a clinical supervisor is an extension of that sacred work. It is a responsibility I hold with great care and reverence.
I believe deeply in the counseling profession. I care immensely about helping emerging therapists become grounded, confident, and skilled, without losing their heart in the process. Good supervision, I have found, is not just about theory or ethics, though those matter a lot. It is also about being seen, supported, and gently stretched as you begin to hold others in their healing work.
My own first supervisor, Alex, a heartfelt shout out, remains one of the most influential people in my life, definitely in the top ten. She and my other supervisors helped me feel held while I was learning to hold others. Every supervisor since has taught me something, sometimes through their example, sometimes through contrast, but always through relationship.
I try to bring that same spirit to my own work with supervisees, warm, real, collaborative, and spacious. I do not take lightly the role of walking alongside you as you grow into the kind of therapist only you can be.
"A good half of every treatment that probes at all, deeply consists in the doctor examining himself."

Working toward your Oregon LPC or LMFT?
As a clinical supervisor, I bring over 15 years of therapeutic experience across individual, dyadic, and systemic work in both Australia and the Pacific Northwest. My professional path is rooted in relational psychology, trauma-informed practice, and attachment-based approaches. I see supervision as a meaningful opportunity to support growth, self-awareness, and confident clinical judgment.
I bring a reflective and supportive presence to supervision. Whether you are wrestling with a complex case, ethical decision-making, or your own emotional responses to the work, I provide a space where you can feel safe to be curious, vulnerable, and authentic. My approach weaves together skill-building with inner development so you can not only do the work, but thrive in it.
I offer both structure and spaciousness. We can track outcomes, explore theoretical models, and develop interventions, while also honoring the internal journey of the therapist. I believe who you are as a clinician matters just as much as what you do.
My clinical lens is grounded in my experience and background in working from a psychodynamic and attachment theory, mentalization based treatments, and experiential therapy framework. I work primarily within Emotion-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.
I also bring depth of experience in dyadic parent-child therapies including Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Circle of Security Parenting, and Tuned In Parenting. I have worked extensively with trauma, early relational wounds, and systemic family dynamics.
Ideal Supervisees
I welcome therapists of all backgrounds, experience levels, and licensure stages. I am an approved supervisors for LPC associates and LMFT associates.
I especially resonate with and support clinicians who are:
Drawn to science of attachment and experiential approaches such as Emotion-Focused Therapy and AEDP
Rooted in exploring relational aspects of intrapsychic pain
Doing or wanting to do couples therapy, individual counseling with mood disorders or parent-child therapy
Interested in integrating their own internal growth with clinical development
I am also very comfortable working with counselors who want to bring their faith into supervision. Whether you’re navigating how to integrate theology into clinical work, make sense of client spiritual questions, or reflect on your own sense of calling, I offer a space where that exploration is welcome.
